Uma função simples que existe em outros sistemas operacionais, e que não é tão visível no Mac OSX (um ícone ou atalho para esta função) é a opção de mostrar o desktop.

Por exemplo: Você está trabalhando em um arquivo e precisa abrir outro, ou abrir um programa que tem um atalho no desktop. Nessa hora você pensa: “Nossa, vou ter que minimizar TODAS as janelas para mostrar o que está por trás.”

Para evitar esse tipo de coisa chata, o atalho é a tecla F11 e para algumas versões mais novas do Mac OS X é o FN + F11.

A simple function found in other operating systems, which is not so “visible” in Mac OS X (as an icon or shortcut) is the option to “Show Desktop”.

For example: You are working on a file and need to open another file, or program which has a shortcut on the desktop. At this time you think: “NO! I´ll have to minimize ALL the open windows to see what´s behind”.

To avoid this annoying thing, just press F11, or Fn+F11 in some newer versions of Mac OS X.
